[NUCarnival] Razor’s Edge “Clear Pursuit-01” Battle Guide

This is the battle guide page for the high-difficulty stage “Clear Pursuit 01” in the NU: Carnival event “Razor’s Edge.”

Stage Guide

Party Formation

TauntNot needed
Defense BreakNot needed
Recommended CD
Required: Characters with CD4 or lower in the 1st and 5th positions

If a CD5 or CD6 character is placed in these positions, their ultimate skill will not be ready in time for the first 8n+5T gimmick.

However, if they are paired with characters who can reduce CD, allowing them to use their ultimate skill by turn 5, then placing CD5 or higher here is fine.

Recommended: A high HP character in the 3rd position
Caution: Characters with Taunt

If Taunt is used at 8n+4T, it will block the next turn’s gimmick, making the stage unwinnable.
Therefore, if including a character with Taunt, be mindful of when to use their ultimate skill.

Strategy Tips

AUTO StrategyNot possible
Ultimate Skill Conservation
If even one ally dies, it results in automatic defeat
Clear the stage by reducing both enemies’ HP to 1%

Reducing only one enemy’s HP to 1% will not deactivate the gimmick.

Every time an attack lands, the attacking character takes counter damage

Attacks without a hit detection (e.g., healer skills) do not trigger counter damage.

Enemy Attack Patterns

Basic attack patterns outside of gimmicks:

  • Rei: Attacks the 1st, 3rd, and 5th positions
  • Quincy: AoE attack

Battle Guide

Battle Flow

Outside of Gimmicks
  • Recommended: Attack → Heal sequence
Since counter damage is received with every attack, it is best to heal at the very end.
  • Ultimate Skill:
  • Save for positions 1 and 5 for 8n+5T
  • Other characters (positions 2, 3, 4) do not need to save it
  • STEP1
8n+5T: Position 1 and 5 use Ultimate Skill, others Defend

    [5T, 13T, 21T, 29T, 37T, 45T…]

    • If positions 2 and 4 attack: the entire party takes massive damage and is wiped out.
    • ※ Do not use taunt on the previous turn (this will make the stage unwinnable due to the gimmick).
  • STEP2
    8n+8T: All Defend (including healers)

    [8T, 16T, 24T, 32T, 40T, 48T…]
