Sorcerer’s Trials "Unique Service Olivine" Battle Guide [NUCarnival] Sorcerer’s Trials

This is a stage guide for the Sorcerer’s Trials, “Unique Service Olivine”.

Party Formation

Remove guard stanceNo need
Recommended CDCD6×1
Required: Guardian in position 3.
Recommended: One character with CD6

There is a mechanic where you want to destroy the shield with one high-damage Special Attack, so having one character who can deal high damage at CD6 will help.

Battle Tips

AUTO Battle
Skills
Each attack will trigger counterattack damage.

Characters without an attack trigger (e.g., Healers) will not be counterattacked.

Each attack increases the enemy’s attack by 1.5% (up to 50 stacks).

This applies even to characters without attack triggers (e.g., Healers).

Each Special Attack increases the enemy’s attack by 3% (up to 10 stacks).

This applies even to characters without attack triggers (e.g., Healers).

The shield on 8n+4T can be reduced with a normal attack.

Even when using a normal attack on 8n+4T, the shield will decrease during the “high-damage Special Attack to break the shield” mechanic.

Battle Flow

Outside the mechanic:
  • Basic: Attack → Heal (due to counterattack damage)
  • Regular defense is recommended (since the enemy’s attack increases each time you attack, including for characters without attack triggers like Healers).
  • STEP1
8n+1T: Use Special Attack with CD3 (CD4 or higher should be saved).

    [8T, 9T, 17T, 25T, 33T, 41T, 49T…]

    • All characters’ CDs will fill during the mechanic.
    • CD3: Use Special Attack if necessary.
    • Do not use Special Attack with attack trigger for CD4 or higher here.
  • STEP2
    8n+2T: Perform 3 normal attacks.

    [2T, 10T, 18T, 26T, 34T, 42T, 50T…]

    • If you cannot land 3 normal attacks, you will receive an attack from an enemy with 600% increased attack.
  • STEP3
8n+3T: Defend if HP is low (save HP for the next turn’s attack).

    [3T, 11T, 19T, 27T, 35T, 43T…]

  • STEP4
8n+4T: Four characters perform normal attacks → One character uses the strongest Special Attack.

    [4T, 12T, 20T, 28T, 36T, 44T…]

    • Recommended: Normal Attack → Heal → One Special Attack.
    • Characters without attack triggers can use normal attacks, Special Attacks, or Defense.
    • Even normal attacks will reduce the shield.
    • The character that can deal the most damage with their Special Attack should use it here.
    • If the Special Attack causes a stun at the same time, you will not receive counterattack damage (so no need to worry about healing HP).
    • Every time you land a normal attack: Enemy damage from their Special Attack increases by 50%.
    • If you cannot break the shield: Forced defeat.
  • STEP5
8n+5T: Make sure to heal HP properly.

    [5T, 13T, 21T, 29T, 37T, 45T…]

After this, use Special Attacks freely until 8n+1T, but save “Taunt.”

  • STEP6
    8n+6T: Defend with everyone except position 3 (1, 2, 4, 5).

    [6T, 14T, 22T, 30T, 38T, 46T…]

  • STEP7
8n+7T: Taunt and defend with the others (Healers can heal).

    [7T, 15T, 23T, 31T, 39T, 47T…]

    • Do not attack here (attacking will increase the damage received by 500%).
    • Healers are safe (they do not trigger counterattack damage and can use normal attacks or Special Attacks).
    • Defense is done solely to avoid counterattack damage.
  • STEP8
8n+8T: All characters defend (Healers can heal).

    [8T, 16T, 24T, 32T, 40T, 48T…]

    • Defense here is only to avoid counterattack damage.
    • You will not receive attacks during this turn, so there is no need to force healing.
