Battle Guide
Battle Flow
- STEP14T:Edmond Gains “Follow-Up Effect (3T)”
Enemy’s Skill: Applies “follow-up effect (3T)” to Edmond (only on Turn 4).
Low-HP characters should defend during this phase.
- Recommended Actions for Turns 4–6:
- Turn 4: Use basic attacks/ultimate skills for all except Morvay. Morvay should save his ultimate skill (defend if HP is low).
- Turn 5: Use Morvay’s ultimate skill; others attack or use ultimate skills.
- Turn 6: Attack/ultimate skill with everyone.
This approach helps stabilize HP.
- STEP2Continuous Random Single-Target Attacks
After Turn 6 and until Edmond’s HP drops below 50%, he will continuously launch random single-target attacks three times per turn.
- STEP3Below 50% HP: Single-Target Counter (2T)
Enemy’s Skill: Triggers 100% counter on a single target (2T).
A dialogue will appear when the skill activates, making it easy to spot.
- Recommended Actions:
- Only characters with high HP should attack during this phase.
- Healers can freely heal (if their skills lack attack judgment).
- If unsure about your HP, defend during these two turns.
- STEP4Below 25% HP – AoE Counter (2T)
Enemy’s Skill: Triggers 75% AoE counter (2T).
Again, a dialogue will announce the skill activation.
- All characters with attack judgments should defend during this phase.
- Healers and other non-attacking characters can act freely.
Recommended Attack Patterns for SR Morvay Parties
This is a suggested attack strategy specifically for parties that include SR Morvay.
- STEP14T:Use Morvay’s basic attack; others defend.
(Enemy’s Skill will trigger on Turn 4, granting Edmond a “Pursuit Effect (3T)”).
- STEP25T:Use Morvay’s ultimate skill; others attack or use ultimate skills.
Depending on the HP situation, it’s also recommended to use the healer’s ultimate skill here.
- STEP36T:Morvay uses basic attack; others defend.
- STEP4After Turn 6:Use Morvay’s ultimate skill as soon as it’s ready.
- Use Morvay’s ultimate skill whenever it’s ready.
- The enemy will continuously launch random single-target attacks (three times per turn).
(All party members should use their ultimate skills whenever they’re ready. However, consider saving them when the enemy’s HP nears 50%.)
- STEP5Save Ultimate Skills as Enemy HP Nears 50%
Monitor how much HP your party can reduce per turn. Begin saving ultimate skills as Edmond’s HP approaches 50%.
- STEP6When Enemy HP Nears 50%: Have all members use their ultimate skills.
Reason: Below 50% HP, the enemy gains a “Counter Effect,” and you’ll want to defend for 2 turns.
This will allow your skills’ cooldowns to recover during the defense period.
- STEP1Defend with all characters for 2 turns (except healers).
- Below 50% HP, Edmond triggers a “Single-Target Counter (2T).”
- Characters without attack skills (e.g., healers) can attack safely.
- Characters with high HP (e.g., SR Morvay) can also attack, but it’s safer to defend if “Maintain Composure” is triggered consecutively.
- STEP2When “Maintain Composure” Triggers:
All members defend for 2 turns (healers do not need to defend). - STEP3Save ultimate skills as Edmond’s HP nears 25%.
- STEP4When Enemy HP Nears 25%: Have all members use their ultimate skills.
- STEP1All members defend for 2 turns (healers do not need to defend)
- (Below 25% HP, Edmond triggers an “Area Counter (2T).”)
- Characters without attack skills (e.g., healers) can safely attack.
- Due to the area counter, all other characters should defend.
- STEP2During Enemy Skill Activation:
All members defend for 2 turns (healers do not need to defend). - STEP3From This Point On:
Focus on avoiding the “Area Counter” while continuing to attack. - STEP4If Enemy Attacks Are Too Strong:
- Use “Morvay’s Ultimate Skill” and the healer’s ultimate skill in alternating turns for better HP stability.
Example:
- Turn 17: Morvay uses his ultimate skill, and the healer uses a basic attack.
- Turn 18: Morvay uses a basic attack, and the healer uses their ultimate skill.
