This is the battle guide page for NU: Carnival’s high-difficulty event stage “Embers 02” from the “Wilting Flowers Burning Dreams” event.
Stage Strategy

Party Composition
Taunt | Not needed |
Defense Break | Not needed |
Recommended CD | ・Slot 3: CD4 or lower ・Others: Any CD is OK |
This stage disables effects such as “Fire is strong against Wood, Wood is weak to Fire.”
You can build your party without considering elements.
Each turn, if you fail to deal 4% or more damage, the entire party will take increased incoming damage.
Having a team where each member’s basic attack can reduce enemy HP by over 4% is helpful.
There is a mechanic requiring Slot 3 to use their ultimate skill every 5 turns.
So place a CD4 or lower character in Slot 3.
If Slot 3’s ultimate skill alone can deal 4% or more damage, you can avoid stacking the “Damage Taken Up” debuff on your team.
If “attacks from Slot 1 and 2 + Slot 3’s basic attack” can together reduce enemy HP by 4% or more, you can avoid stacking the “Damage Taken Up” debuff.
Put your highest-damage ultimate in Slot 3, and next strongest characters in Slot 1 and 2.

Strategy Tips

Ultimate Saving | Only save Slot 3’s ultimate |
If you fail to deal 4% or more damage in a turn, the entire party will take 3% more damage.
This stacks by 3% per count (e.g., 2 stacks = +6% damage taken).
This is checked every turn.
To avoid the “Damage Taken Up” debuff, you must deal 4%+ damage every turn.
