This is a stage guide for the Sorcerer’s Trials, “Berserker Yakumo”.

Party Formation

All enemy attacks in this stage are AoE (area of effect).
Therefore, strategies relying on having a Guardian absorb attacks via taunting are not viable.
As the stage involves taking consistent damage from two AoE attacks and 115 turn-by-turn damage per turn, you need a healer capable of fully restoring the lost HP each turn.
Effects like “increase ally attack power” from supporters also enhance a healer’s healing output.
This allows you to increase healing without heavy investment in your healer by forming a party with two supporters and one healer.

If your party has high HP and a sufficiently developed healer, you can clear the stage on AUTO from turn 1.
Failing to defend results in “massive damage + paralysis (2 turns).”
When the enemy’s HP drops below 50%, they activate “Essence Meltdown,” which increases their attack power by 20% for 4 turns.
Since this skill activates only once, surviving those 4 turns by defending ensures safety thereafter.

 Enemy’s skill “Yakumo’s Guidance”- Failure to defend results in “massive damage + paralysis (2 turns).”
 
- STEP35n+7T:Heal or have everyone defend if HP isn’t critical.[7T、12T、17T、22T、27T、32T、37T、42T、47T…] - Prioritize healing if HP is low.
- Prepare for two heavy AoE attacks afterward.
 
- STEP4Close to 50% Enemy HP:Reserve ultimate skills for attack.When the enemy’s HP drops below 50%, “Essence Meltdown” activates, boosting their damage output by 20% for 4 turns. - It’s effective to unleash all ultimate skills immediately after this activation to finish the battle quickly.
- Avoiding the timing of reducing the enemy’s HP below 50% during the following turns significantly improves the party’s survival rate.

- STEP5After “Essence Meltdown” Activation:Either heal persistently or survive the 4 turns through defense.When the enemy’s HP drops below 50%, “Essence Meltdown” activates, increasing the enemy’s damage output by 20% for 4 turns. Note: Depending on the timing of “Yakumo’s Guidance” or other skills, “Essence Meltdown” may not activate immediately after the HP drops below 50%. Monitor the displayed skill names closely to avoid accidents.
