CD5 or lower skills are sufficient for this stage due to the mechanics. For maximizing the number of ultimate skill uses, CD3 is recommended.
Why CD3 is recommended
With the timing of the stage’s mechanics, CD3 allows for one additional use of ultimate skills compared to CD4. If you need higher damage output, prioritize characters with CD3 skills.
Battle Tips
AUTO Battle
AUTO mode is not viable
Skills
You must manually manage ultimate skill usage. Save ultimate skills for 9n+6T turns but use them freely at other times when they are ready.
A stage requiring stack management
This stage involves managing Quincy’s “ATK+1.5% UP” stacks by adding and removing them strategically.
Basic attack: Adds +1 stack.
Ultimate skill: Removes -2 stacks.
Quincy’s “ATK+1% UP per turn” passive stack increases her damage output as the battle progresses. Toward the end of the battle, aim to reduce the “ATK+1.5% UP” stacks to 0 to avoid taking excessive damage.
This order optimizes damage management by reducing counter damage and managing Quincy’s stacks.
Basic attack triggers counter damage and adds +1 to the “ATK+1.5% UP” stack.
Healing restores some of the counter damage received.
Ultimate skill removes -2 from the “ATK+1.5% UP” stack.
Minimize defensive actions to maintain firepower
Every time a character uses defense, their ATK decreases by -1% per stack, up to 50 stacks. This ATK debuff can significantly reduce your team’s overall damage.
Key timing: Reduce ATK+ stacks before 9n+4T
A powerful AOE attack that ignores defense occurs at 9n+4T (e.g., 4T, 13T, 22T). Reducing Quincy’s “ATK+1.5% UP” stacks beforehand is crucial to survive this attack.
HP lock mechanic at 25%
At 25% HP, Quincy activates the skill “Final Phase,” temporarily locking her HP bar.
Forced defeat after 6 turns of “Final Phase”
From the turn “Final Phase” is activated, you have 6 turns to defeat Quincy. If her HP isn’t depleted within this timeframe, it will result in a forced defeat.
Buffs and Debuffs in the Stage
On defense: -1% ATK per defense action (up to 50 stacks).
On basic attack: Triggers counter damage and increases Quincy’s ATK+1.5% stack (up to 30 stacks).
Each basic attack adds +1 to the stack, and four basic attacks in one turn will increase Quincy’s ATK by +6%.
On ultimate skill: Removes -2 stacks from Quincy’s “ATK+1.5% UP.”
When Quincy’s HP drops below 25%: Quincy gains “Damage Received -6.5%” (up to 5 stacks).
Per turn: Quincy’s ATK increases by +1% (up to 50 stacks).
Battle Guide
Battle Flow
STEP1
Non-mechanic turns: Use ultimate skills as they are ready while keeping an eye on stacks and timing for 9n+6T.
Prioritize reducing Quincy’s stacks to minimize damage.
STEP2
9n+4T:Save ultimate skills (even CD3 skills).
[4T、13T、22T、31T、40T、49T…]
A defense-ignoring AOE attack will occur. Using defense during this phase is only necessary to avoid counter damage or prevent ATK+ stack increases.
STEP3
9n+6T:Use ultimate skills for all characters (including healers).
[6T、15T、24T、33T、42T…]
Failure to use ultimate skills here will prevent your team from gaining the “Damage Taken -30%” buff.
STEP4
9n+10T:Everyone uses defense (including healers).
[10T、19T、28T、37T、46T…]
This action triggers Quincy to heal your party’s HP, helping you recover for the next phase.
